What is Beer 'Merica?

Beer 'Merica is the most awesome beer festival in all of the US of A and the kick-off event to American Craft Beer Week here in Orlando. It features over 100 complimentary craft brews and “beyond” for sampling, plus live wrestling, live music, Game Zone, silent disco, silent auction and raffle, local vendors and food trucks. Proceeds benefit The Camaraderie Foundation, whose mission is to provide healing for the invisible wounds of war through counseling, emotional and spiritual support for all branches of Post-9/11 Veterans, Service members and their families and Getaboard Foundation, who believes that action sports, creative art, STEM and literacy help underprivileged youth build self-esteem, self-respect and self-confidence. To learn more about these great organizations, check out www.CamaraderieFoundation.org and www.Getaboard.org.

What can I bring inside, other than myself?

First off, a great attitude and predisposition for having a really friendly, good time! We’ve worked extremely hard for many months to make this festival amazing, and we’ve been anticipating it now for three years! We want everyone to have a great time, so no negative Nellies! Oh, and folding chairs, blankets, etc. You can bring those. And your friendly, leashed dogs. Coolers, outside beverages, food and your awesome friends that didn’t want to buy a ticket are not permitted. Sorry. 😔

Do you sell tickets at the door?

Sort of. They will be available day of, but we ask that you purchase them before you come or on your phone from BeerMericaOrlando.com before you approach the gate. We will not be doing transactions at the door. This helps us keep the lines moving and getting attendees like you into the festival and having a good time as quickly as possible.

What about parking?
Parking is a challenge in such an awesome neighborhood, so we encourage you to walk, scooter or bike there, and walk or ride-share home! If you ride-share to the event, we suggest being dropped off on Ivanhoe Boulevard, in front of The Greek Corner near Lake House Apartments. (Just put “Greek Corner” in your app. That will be perfect!) The entrance is a quick walk South on Orange Avenue, where it intersects with Virginia Drive.
There is also very limited parking at Lake Highland Prep’s Alden Street Parking Lot. If you intend to have a DD, we highly encourage carpooling, as this lot is based on first come first served. The entrance is behind the storefronts that face Orange Avenue, near where Alden intersects with Orange (near the Ferguson Bath store). This is available on a first-come basis. (That means you VIP! This is essentially VIP parking, but since parking so limited in the neighborhood, we are making it first come, first serve, meaning GAs can also park there, but VIPs, you should get there first! However, if you’re a late, parking may be full.)
Where do I get my sample cup and event guide?

Pick up your sample cup and event guide at the entrance as you enter the festival. Please do not take more than one. This year there is only one entrance, located at the North end of the park, near the intersection of Orange Avenue and Virginia Drive.

Do you offer refunds if I’m unable to attend or is my ticket transferable?

We cannot offer refunds, however tickets are fully transferable and the name on the ticket does not matter as long as the ticket has not been scanned.

What should I wear to Beer 'Merica?

Patriotic attire is encouraged. The more outrageous, the better! We also encourage you to come comfy, and be prepared for Orlando weather!

If I promise not to drink, can I come to the event if I'm under 21 years of age?

No one under the age of 21 is permitted inside of the event. There will be no exceptions, and security will be ID'ing ticket holders as they come into the event. Not even babies! This is in accordance with laws and insurance policies that cover this event.

Will there be food available?

Food trucks and food vendors will be set up on-site for guests to purchase food.

What about water?

There will be water available at water tents throughout.

Where do I pick up my VIP lanyard?

Pick up VIP lanyards at the entrance.

Where do I pick up my VIP gifts?

Your VIP t-shirt will be available for pickup in the VIP Zone. T-shirt sizes are available on a first come first serve basis. Your VIP glass will be available in the tent you entered through, upon your exit. (Glasses are not allowed in the park during the festival.)

What happens if it rains?

The event goes on rain or shine. Only dangerous weather can stop us! Come prepared to embrace the Florida weather. Umbrellas are permitted, ponchos encouraged!

Is this event dog-friendly?

Yes, friendly, leashed dogs are welcomed! It just wouldn’t be right for you to spend this much time on a Saturday in such a beautiful park and leave the fur-babies at home, now would it?

Is there re-entry?

No re-entry. Once you leave the festival, you have left for good, and we hope to see you at our next event (Tacos and Tequila!)

Know Before You Go

Hey festival lovers! We’re looking forward to seeing you soon at America’s Favorite Festival, Beer ‘Merica!

The fest is going next-level this year with a new evening start-time, fireworks finale, cannabis zone (drinks!), more DJs than ever, the return of the big Sweetwater Sweet Sounds Karaoke stage and thanks to Michi Micheladas, wrestling is BACK!

Limited tickets are still available at www.beermericaorlando.com!

Forward this to any friends who can’t miss a day of 100+ beers, seltzers, canned cocktails, energy and cannabis drinks!  Live bands, four live DJs (one with karaoke!), the Michelob Ultra Costume Contest, giant drinking games, charity raffles, local food… and all lakeside in one of Downtown’s most awesome ‘hoods, Ivanhoe Village!

Special Message from our partner Dogtopia: Celebrating with fireworks may be fun for us, but for dogs... not so much. Loud noises are a common source of fear and anxiety in dogs. With a little help, both you and your pup can have a fun, relaxing time. If you’re looking for a safe place for your pup to play this weekend and beyond, give Dogtopia a try. With six locations in the greater Orlando market, we are accessible to all - book your dog's Meet & Greet via https://www.dogtopia.com/partner-promo/beermerica-orlando/.

Please take the time to review the info below, which will help you make the most of your experience and know what to expect.

Cheers,
The Orlando Weekly Beer Merica Team 🇺🇸🍺

Come chat with them, learn about them, but a raffle ticket from them, and support their work!
